McKenzie reports 56 completed OAC projects and NYCHA collaborations
McKenzie says NYC Aging completed 56 projects across the OAC portfolio in FY26, many made possible by a $5 million council grant. Collaborations with NYCHA included a kitchen renovation at Bronx River OAC and roof and AC replacement at Samuel Tilden OAC. She says these improvements are impactful.
We are happy to report that in FY26, NYC Aging has completed 56 projects across the OAC portfolio, and many of those were made possible because of the $5 million council
grant that has been included in the FY26 budget.
We also did complete collaborations with NYCHA Spaces for a kitchen renovation at Bronx River OAC and a roof and AC replacement at Samuel Tilden OAC.
These improvements are impactful for older adults and we are grateful for our partnership with NYCHA as we address these concerns.
