How does DOT decide when and where to move speed cameras?
Like what's the criteria, metrics that you use to place them?
So DOT is, of course, a data-driven agency in all of the safety measures that we have.
When we're citing speed cameras, we're looking at, obviously, first and foremost, speeds.
We're looking at crashes.
We're looking at the nature of those crashes.
And we are constantly sort of recalibrating our streets to determine what's happening on them and where the cameras can be most effective.
