Overlapping events in New York City between June 11th and July 19th.

Any one of those on their own would be a big deal in New York City.

All of them taken together are unprecedented and are going to place

unusual and I would say historic demands on the New York City Police Department.

So Christine, can you go through the July 1st to July 7th, what that dollar value projection is, and then also for the World Cup specifically?

So these projections are preliminary, but for the July 1st through July 7th, our projection order of magnitude is that will cost between $35 to $42 million for that period.

overall for FIFA and the and sale 250 so this entire time of all of these overlapping events

we believe over time is projected about 73 million on top of that obviously there's equipment that the department needs to make sure that we're able to keep everything safe secure and also manage the crowds that's 12.4 million

and then there's 6.5 million for drone equipment so in total the estimate right now is 92 million dollars the good news is that the budget that you've all looked at already really accounts for on the city side

about $50 million, and then there's another $21 million in federal funding.

So there's $71 million that we're accounting for.

All the federal funding's not quite reflected yet, but that does leave a shortfall of about $20 to $21 million based on projections.

I will just add that the federal government slash FIFA did not give us nearly enough money to cover the overtime bill on the New York City Police Department.

So they gave us $14.6 for the overtime, toward overtime, and $6.5 for counter-drone equipment.
