Brewer on DeWitt Clinton Park renovation needs and limited developer contribution
Brewer highlights the city park across the street needing $6 million bathroom and $6 million playground renovations, but the developer only committed $200,000 over several years.

It's right across the street from these buildings.
I know it well.
It includes ball fields, leisure areas, playgrounds, and more.
The Parks Department sent us a memo indicating that bathroom renovation is a little over $6 million, and a play area also needs the same renovation at about $6 million.
And understand that the many, many units in these buildings, thousands of units, will of course look over the park, number one, and two, use the park.
But the most we could get out of the owners was $200,000 over a few years, so it comes in depending on the CFO or the temporary CFO, despite the request for more, six plus six.
