Richard Lobel summarizes project rationale and benefits
Lobel summarizes that the site is currently underutilized parking and overgrown space, surrounded by buildings of equivalent height and density, with amenities and transit supporting residential growth. He emphasizes the dire need for affordable housing and the delivery of over 400 units of low and extremely low income housing.
And just to summarize, so thank you, Mark and Van.
Given the site, the location amidst buildings of equivalent height and density, the fact that much of the site which would be built upon is currently used either for parking, which is underutilized, or is
overgrown space, the fact that this area has amenities and can support additional residential growth, and
in light of the dire need for affordable housing in the area, We're happy to bring this project with literally over 400 units of low and extremely low affordable income housing to the council.
And with that, we're happy to answer any questions.
Thank you.
We've been joined by Councilmember Santos also.
Oh, and Councilmember Farias.
So Councilmember Santos also, if you want to provide remarks and ask questions.
One moment, dear.
Let me just gather something.
There you go.
Councilmember, can you hear us?
