I just wonder, did you guys do any research about increased salary for elected officials and the corruption?
Is there any relationship between?
I would say that the outside income being banned by the city council, you know, a number of years ago was a very important step to not have corruption at the state level.
There is outside income that is allowed and there have been problems in the past.
And I think certainly.
To the extent that there is a higher salary, there's less of an incentive to get private income that could create conflicts of interest.
