CM Mealy raises concerns, requests her district be carved out of the bill

New York City Council · Jul 14, 2026 · starts 0:14:55 · 48 sec

CM Darlene Mealy expresses concern about the bill's impact on her district, noting that giving property owners 30 extra feet could lead to future property tax increases. She requests that her portion of the district be pulled out of the bill, emphasizing that each elected official should have a say in rezoning affecting their area.
