Chair Louis opens 200 Kent Avenue rezoning hearing
Chair Louis opens LUs 115 and 116 regarding the 200 Kent Avenue mixed-use residential rezoning along the Williamsburg waterfront in Council Member Ressler's district. The proposal involves a zoning map and MIH text amendment to enlarge an existing commercial building into approximately 143 apartments, with 36 permanently affordable under MIH Option 1.
And we will now open our last public hearing, third public hearing, on LUs 115 and 116 regarding 200 Kent Avenue,
a mixed-use residential rezoning proposal along the Williamsburg waterfront in Brooklyn and Councilmember Ressler's district.
The proposal involves a zoning map and an MIH zoning text amendment.
Applicant is seeking to enlarge an existing commercial building into a mixed-use housing development with approximately 143 apartments.
Mandatory inclusionary housing would be mapped as part of this application, which would require 36 apartments to be permanently afforded.
