Applicant Cozen presents 200 Kent Avenue rezoning overview and application status
The applicant panel is sworn in. Jeremy Cozen of Freedman LLP presents two actions: a zoning map amendment from M1-4 to M1-4A/R7X mixed-use district and establishing an MIH area, resulting in approximately 143 dwelling units with 29-43 affordable depending on MIH option. He notes Brooklyn CB1 and the Borough President approved with conditions, and City Planning Commission approved unanimously.

Next slide, please.
We are here today to discuss two proposed actions.
The first is a zoning map amendment to rezone the project area from an M14 light manufacturing district to an M14AR7X mixed-use district.
The second action is to map this area, the area that will be rezoned, to establish an MIH area.
This would result in approximately 143 dwelling units, 29 to 43 of which would be affordable depending on the MIH option selected.

A brief overview of the status of this application is, I think, warranted at this point.
The Brooklyn Community Board 1 voted favorably with conditions, as well as the Brooklyn Borough President.
Those conditions related mostly to the MIH levels, as well as the desire to see light manufacturing uses in the ground floor of this building.
City Planning Commission approved this unanimously as well.
