Just some more context on Queens Community District 2.
As you all are aware, there was recently the neighborhood plan, the rezoning for Long Island City.
There has been a lot of development in Long Island City over recent years, and with the rezoning plan, there will be additional new housing units, and there are, we know, facets of that plan that will realize improved and accessible open space.
But that being said, there's still a dearth of open space across the district.
And we also, in engagement with the community board, they also are aware that there are vast needs across the district that we want to work with them to try to close that walk gap.
