Thomas-Henry asks why the rezoning area excludes a property along Taft Place and why only two of three lots are being redeveloped. Palachnik explains the rezoning area extends 240 feet but only two sites are being developed. On building bulk, he shows the neighboring school is 87 feet tall while the proposed building is 90 feet, making them analogous in height.

It will produce two buildings.
Building A will be nine stories tall.
That will have 50,000 square feet of floor area.
Building B will be six stories tall.
That will have 13,000 square feet of floor area.
Overall, the entire development will have 74 total dwelling units, 18 permanently affordable.
As a council member mentioned, it will include 35 two-bedrooms, seven three-bedrooms, four four-bedrooms, 23 one-bedrooms, and five studios.
So it's rather heavy on the multiple bedroom scenario.
And we are proposing to include a synagogue at the cellular level of building A.

There's only two properties being redeveloped within that rezoning district.
