Council Member Hankerson recognizes summer interns

All right, Councilmember Hankerson.

Thank you.

I'll be very, very, very, very, very quick since I'm out.

So we can go.

I wanted to take this opportunity to express my gratitude for my summer interns who are in the balcony.

Our interns do so much to assist our constituents and improve their lives.

Many of my interns are here today, so I wanted to quickly shout them all out.

First, my SYP interns, Madison, who is a rising junior at Morgan State University, Kaleah, who is about to start her freshman year at York College, Quinn, who recently transferred from Keene University and is exploring going back to school,

Constance, who just graduated from New York Career and Business School, Hamad, who is a rising senior at Hunter College,

Russell, who is a master's student at NYU's Graduate School of Arts and Science, I have deep respect for all of the interns that have worked

to serve the grade 28, and I wish them the best in their futures and hope that they come back to serve in other capacities at some point.

So congratulations to you all.
