Chair Riley opens meeting and welcomes committee members
Council staff calls the meeting to order and Chair Riley welcomes colleagues including Brooks-Powers, Cabán, Abreu, Salaam, Banks, Zhuang, Encarnación, Sanchez, Thomas-Henry, and Minority Leader Carr. Riley notes the committee will vote on four proposals referred by the subcommittees and thanks Subcommittee Chairs Lewis and Marte for their leadership.

Good morning, everyone, and welcome to the meeting of the Committee on Land Use.
I'm Councilmember Kevin Riley, chair of this committee.
I want to welcome my esteemed colleagues joining me today, including Councilmember Brooks Powers, Councilmember Caban, Majority Leader of Bayou, Councilmember Salam, Councilmember Banks, Councilmember Zhuang,
Councilmember Encarnacion, Councilmember Justin Sanchez, Councilmember Thomas Henry, and Minority Leader David Carr.
Today we are voting on four proposals referred to us by our subcommittee.
And like always, I would like to thank Chair Lewis in Zonin and Chair Marte in Landmarks for their ongoing leadership.
