De La Rosa questions reassessing low-risk designation for updates
De La Rosa asks if the low-risk flag is being reconsidered. Gelobter confirms they are examining risk assessment factors including production vs. lab environment, call rerouting needs, and whether callers or call takers would notice changes. She says they don't yet have answers but are looking thoroughly.
CTO, and I imagine that now that this has occurred, the low risk flag is being reconsidered, reassessed.
Can you speak to that, what that looks like?
So what I will say is, again, research and investigation is still ongoing.
We do need to look at various things around risk assessment.
So things like systems that are impacting.
Is it going to be in production or is it going to be in the lab?
Will calls have to be rerouted?
Will callers and or call takers notice it?
So I think that there's a lot of factors that we have to revisit to figure out how risk assessment is done.
So don't have yet have the answers, but that is for sure one of the things that we are looking at thoroughly.
I know my colleagues all have questions, so I'm going to ask two more questions, and I'm going to pass it to Chair Felice.
