So why are we here today?

Jeremy Cozen

We're here to, as Council Member Ressler mentioned,

Jeremy Cozen

and to rezone a vestigial 1961 zoning M31 heavy manufacturing site that has not been operated as a heavy manufacturing site in decades.

Jeremy Cozen

That three tax lots within the rezoning area would be rezoned to allow for residential use, including a significant amount of affordable housing, and a portion of the block, which has remained M31

Jeremy Cozen

since 1961 but has never operated as such, will be zoned to M12A to allow for a wider variety of uses.

Jeremy Cozen

In addition, as I mentioned, the portion of the rezoning area that will allow for residential use will be mapped as MIH.
