Schiffrin describes mapping over 200 influencers and seeking more city information
Schiffrin says her team pulled together a list of more than 200 influencers but is not yet confident enough to release it, hopes the hearings will prompt more information from the city, and offers to help draft disclosure and transparency legislation and connect officials with international counterparts.
We included a sidebar on who the agencies are, and we have pulled together a list of more than 200 influencers, but we're not yet happy enough about it to release it.
So we do have a lot of stuff that still feels a little rough to us, and I'm so much hoping that now that these hearings are happening that perhaps more information will be forthcoming from the city.
And like you, you know, I need to finish this paper.
It's got to get published and presented in the middle of October.
So anybody who can talk to us and provide more information, we would be very grateful.
And it goes without saying that we'd be really delighted to help with the drafting of legislation, focusing on disclosure and transparency, and connecting you to officials around the world who have already done this kind of work.
There's a lot out there.
So that's something I wanted to say.
