Zev Frank asks for safe, reliable care beyond gender-affirming treatment
Zev Frank says trans people need safe practitioners for binding and other aspects of life, not only gender-affirming care. He says being visibly or openly trans can affect care even at a dentist or outside gender-affirming settings.
Does anybody else want to add?
I think I just want to add, especially if they're talking about, you know, safe, like, reliable health care for transgender people, I think that can go beyond,
you know, like, gender-affirming care and also just, like, when it comes to, like, binding.
Safe medical practitioners to go to, or in so many aspects of life.
But I think this is one where people can be very vulnerable.
I know in my experiences, and I've heard other people say this too, experiences with medical practitioners, even a dentist, something outside of seeking gender-affirming care, it can be...
Visibly or openly trans can really impact the care you receive and it can be really a difficult task trying to find someone you can trust and try to find like safe reliable care.
Thank you.
