Stevens asks what accountability mechanisms exist for missed goals
Stevens asks how often the office reviews agency performance and what happens when agencies consistently miss goals. Garner says the city holds weekly MWBE CompStat meetings, generates monthly data from the Big Five, and brings issues to agency commissioners.
What accountability and compliance mechanism has been put in place since you've taken this often?
How often does your office review agency performances?
And what happens when an agency consistently misses its goals?
So we basically meet with agencies every week, every Monday at 3 p.m.
We call them the MWBE CompStat meetings.
And we want to look at their metrics, and we're generating data now once a month from the big five.
And we are generating data from mocks every quarter.
And we're looking at this data to observe trends and what we should be focusing on for improvements.
And you asked the last question about the accountability of agencies.
Yeah, what are the accountability mechanisms that you guys have in place if they're, like, inconsistent or missing their goals?
Like, if the MWB is missing their goals, what accountability mechanisms have you guys put in place?
Well, certainly we are bringing it to the attention of the agency commissioners.
And also we're working internally with MOX and other stakeholders here to enforce and have the agencies enforce what their contract requirements are.
I have a couple more questions, but I'll pass it off and do another round.
Thank you.
