Chair Joseph suggests international internships with NYC companies
Chair Joseph says CUNY should explore international internships and mentorships with New York City companies that have global footprints. She says students who studied in a particular country develop cultural knowledge and empathy that could support future partnerships.
Yeah, I was going to ask about the possibility for international internships, mentorships.
Right here in the city, too, we have a lot of companies that have footprints in international countries that maybe we should be thinking about.
Future partnerships right here and the fact that that student studied in that particular country has the norms and and it also develop empathy skills right when you learn about other cultures you're supposed to have that
different set set of skills of empathy towards so that's great so thank you
