Gutiérrez offers to connect Early Starters with CUNY funding

New York City Council · Sep 29, 2026 · starts 2:06:47 · 18 sec

Gutiérrez says the city and council funded about $2.5 to $3 million for the CUNY program. She offers to connect Early Starters USA to that funding and praises the apprenticeship model.

Jennifer Gutiérrez

This is really cool.

Jennifer Gutiérrez

Well, the last budget, the administration and now the council's been able to fund, I think, close to three million, two and a half million to support this CUNY program.

Jennifer Gutiérrez

So we'll make sure to make that connection.

Jennifer Gutiérrez

It would be great to really focus on that.

Jennifer Gutiérrez

Awesome.

Jennifer Gutiérrez

Thank you.
