Kreamer addresses whether impact came from higher prices or more transactions
Maloney asks how much of the $2 billion impact came from higher prices due to demand rather than additional transactions. Kreamer says the model is an input-output model calibrated to New York City and did consider a bump in lodging prices.
You mentioned higher prices.
I'm curious if you have a sense of how much of that $2.7 billion
Two billion economic impact is from higher prices due to more demand.
For example, I think.
that was true with hotel pricing or additional transactions.
So the model did take into consideration, well, I'll take a step back.
So the model is based off of something that's called a implant input output model.
And that model is a industry agreed upon
model that is calibrated to the New York City market.
And so based off the prices of goods or services, based off the different sectors, and so the report did take consideration a bump in prices for lodging.
I'm happy to follow up with some more information on that.
