Mamana acknowledges manual outreach and need for earlier start
Mamana says she agrees with Morano and that outreach was largely manual through associations, BIDs, and chambers. She says with more time the city could have started earlier and kept a better tally.
I think I completely agree.
I don't know that we had a live dashboard, but I have three pages of businesses that we've reached out to in terms of associations, bids.
It's largely a manual process, unfortunately.
So we try to multiply it by going through the bids and chambers and the restaurant associations.
I think with the time we had, again, not to punt that question, but I think if we had an
additional timing, we probably could have started earlier and began to do a little bit more on the outreach and try to kind of keep that tally going so we were properly balanced when we launched the program.
