Mamana proposes centralized dashboard for future business outreach
Thomas-Henry asks whether NYC Tourism will use a more tech-related program for future outreach. Mamana says the next time the city should set up a centralized dashboard to see participation in real time and start earlier.
And it was mentioned that most of the, this is for NYC tourism businesses, there was like a manual outreach for the future.
Do we plan on like coordinating or a program more tech related to kind of help alleviate some of that?
Do you mean for the CUP program?
Yes.
I think this was the first time that we reached out beyond our member base to virtually any outlet that served a cold beverage was eligible for this program.
So it could have been street carts, bodegas.
So we really did rely on associations, bids, and chambers to help get the word out beyond our purview.
I think the next time we do this, we would just definitely set up a centralized dashboard so we could see in real time to the earlier point.
And then we would ideally start earlier so that we can make up shortfalls as we see them with enough time.
Is there a way for SBS to coordinate with NYC Tourism to the businesses that are?
We did, absolutely.
Yes.
Okay.
Yes.
Okay.
I think we just ran out of time.
Now, you heard.
