DeFalco says DEP works hand-in-glove with resiliency office
DeFalco says DEP has a strong working relationship with the mayor's resiliency office and there is no turf war. She thanks Gennaro for his advocacy for the Bureau's funding.
I think that we've had a terrific working relationship with that office.
And in all fairness, yes, we are in Queens, but, you know, we're often right here.
We've got an office across the street that I can see from here.
We work with, you know, them hand in glove, I think, on all of these projects.
I don't think that there is a turf war fight happening right now.
I think there's too much work.
Okay, I'm just saying.
And there's plenty of work to be done.
Lots of people jumping in and a lot of expertise.
Even more coming based on the amount of staff that we're going to have coming with this $43 million.
And to that extent, we want to thank you because...
That's a lot of your advocacy for this bureau and for the way that this is set up, as I think this administration is listening.
This is funding that we've been working for for a long time.
Yeah.
And that you had supported for a long time.
So we thank you again for your advocacy on that.
