De La Rosa opens public testimony and sets two-minute rules
Chair opens public testimony, reminds attendees of decorum, prohibits video recording from the witness table, explains how to submit written testimony, and limits speakers to two minutes on 311 and the three bills.
I now open the hearing for public testimony.
And I remind members of the public that this is a formal government proceeding and that decorum should be observed at all times.
As such, members of the public shall remain silent at all times.
And the witness table is reserved for people who wish to testify.
No video recording or photography is allowed from the witness table.
And furthermore, members of the public may not present audio or video recordings as testimony may, but may submit transcripts of such recordings to the sergeant at arms for inclusion in the hearing record.
If you wish to speak at today's hearing, please fill out an appearance card with a sergeant at arms and wait to be recognized.
When recognized, you'll have two minutes to speak on today's topic on New York City's 311 system, intro 173, intro 669, or intro 800.
If you have written statement or additional written testimony you wish to submit for the record, please provide a copy of your testimony to the sergeant at arms.
You may also email written testimony to testimony at council.nyc.gov within 72 hours of this hearing.
Audio and video recordings will not be accepted.
