Hankerson asks about conservancies approving events and damage repair
Hankerson asks whether conservancies or licensees can approve events without DPR input, and whether contracts require grass repair. Cerrone says no outside group can approve events and contracts require parks to be returned to prior condition.
Like, even if you have, like, a storm cloud over you, the meteorologist will say, oh, I...
I think this is going to pass.
It looks like it's going to pass.
But whether it passes in an hour or whether it passes in 20 minutes is harder to know.
That's really interesting.
Thanks for sharing that.
What is DPR's review process after an event is concluded to determine whether it was successful or not?
So thank you for that question.
You know, for, you know, again, for the smaller events, there's not much of a process.
We just, we want those events to happen.
We want people to have fun.
Have fun.
And, you know, and so that's, you know, that's kind of like, you know, we issue the permit and then, you know, they have the event and there's no there's not really a follow up for larger events.
You know, we'll do we'll do site inspections and we seek to do those site inspections immediately after loadout.
So they're, you know, they're contemporaneous in terms of, you know, the the timeline.
So we know that there's no other things that could have caused damage if there was damage.
And so, you know, we'll do those sometimes with our colleagues who do park inspections.
We'll do those with the event producer themselves.
We'll do those with the park administrators and park managers and the borough.
We'll do them with our partners if there's a partner organization helping to care for the park
