Hankerson asks whether Parks provides a permit checklist
Hankerson asks if Parks gives applicants a comprehensive checklist of approvals and agency permits. Anne McTiernan says the citywide office sends a templated email with required documents and links to NYPD, FDNY, and DOB permits.
and always documenting it through photos and kind of like comparing them to the conditions before.
The expectation and the standard is that the park be returned to the public in the same condition that it was before the event took place.
We also, for very large-scale events, do interagency debriefs with all the city agencies that are part of the planning of the event.
So the same group that was part of the planning leading up to the event and who are on site during the event, we all debrief virtually after to talk about, you know,
lessons learned and things that we could do to improve for next year.
Okay, thank you.
Final few questions, and then I'm going to go into public testimony.
Do any conservancies or alliances have the power, or groups that have license agreements, have the power to hold events and determine
the content of the event without DPR's direct input or approval.
Thank you for that.
I want to just add another piece to that question.
Do any of them have the right to approve events from outside applicants without DPR's input or approval?
