Hankerson asks for denial data by borough
Hankerson asks whether Parks can provide denial data by borough. Cerrone says yes and gives an example of denying a polo match with horses on the Great Lawn because it was inappropriate for the landscape.
I appreciate that.
Given the less than 1% of denials, does the data demonstrate the locations of those denials by borough?
So, yeah, that can be one of the instances in which it come up.
You hit it exactly.
If someone applies for an event in a park, and I think this would be like a bigger event, so I'm not talking about a picnic or like, you know, a family gathering or even a wedding.
But if they wanted to do something that was larger and, you know, it just was too big for the park or it was inappropriate for the landscape.
You know, the example that comes to mind is I think a year or two ago, we got a request to do a polo match with horses on the Great Lawn.
And we couldn't approve that.
We had to deny that because it was just, it was not appropriate for the landscape.
To have the horses there.
Can parks provide the data based on location of denials?
Yes, sir.
Okay.
Awesome.
