Delany-Brumsey outlines NGBV services and Family Justice Centers
Delany-Brumsey says NGBV supports victims and survivors through collaboration with agencies, community partners, survivors, and philanthropy, and oversees prevention and intervention services including the city's five borough-based Family Justice Centers.
The NGBV team supports victims and survivors of domestic and gender-based violence and other crimes, as well as their families and communities, through collaboration with government agencies, community partners, survivors, and philanthropy.
The team works to reduce barriers, address gaps in services, and create pathways to safety through program development, legislative and policy advocacy, research, and capacity building.
NGBV also oversees a portfolio of prevention and intervention services, including the city's five borough-based family justice centers, or FJCs.
Since March, NGBV has continued to advance this mission, strengthen services, and deliver critical support to victims and survivors across New York City.
