Farías asks if OCS move will slow open-data reporting

New York City Council · Sep 30, 2026 · starts 0:32:42 · 52 sec

Farías asks whether moving NGBV to OCS could slow open-data reporting. Delany-Brumsey says systems and processes are being put in place to meet obligations, and Sethi says the data and IGA teams remain the same.

Amanda C. Farías

Just want to talk a little bit about data and reporting.

Amanda C. Farías

NGBV is in compliance with the open data law and regularly uploads reports to open data on time.

Amanda C. Farías

Will the move to OCS potentially slow that processing time down?

Amanda C. Farías

How will OCS ensure that it does not?

Ayesha Delany-Brumsey

Yeah, absolutely.

Ayesha Delany-Brumsey

That's a great question.

Ayesha Delany-Brumsey

All of our offices have a variety of reports that they are required to submit.

Ayesha Delany-Brumsey

As part of our efforts to consolidate the office, we are ensuring that we have the systems and processes in place so that we do not slow that down, that we are continuing to meet our obligations, and we have continued to do that to date.

Saloni Sethi

Yeah, and I'd say for right now, like our data team is the same.

Saloni Sethi

Our, you know, IGA team, small IGA team is the same.

Saloni Sethi

And so we're kind of working through those same channels to provide reports as requested as usual.
