Lobel closes 108-05 68th Road presentation and seeks council support
Lobel reiterates community board support, contextual height, thanks Council Member Shulman for guidance, emphasizes the nonprofit child care and teen services, and asks for council support.
Great.
So we can stop there.
Just to reiterate, the community board was very pleased with this application.
As evidenced by the vote, had limited comments.
The building itself they saw as contextual with the surrounding area.
They appreciated that the height was comparable to buildings to the north and south of the property at six stories, despite the fact that those buildings are also within an R12A district.
We appreciate and thank Councilmember Shulman for her guidance during this process.
We've had some very open conversations with her office, her and the community.
This is a valued nonprofit with services which were provided to the entire community in terms of child care and care of teenagers after school.
And so we're happy and hopefully we'll have the support of the council.
And with that, we're happy to answer any questions.
