Q&A

Thomas-Henry asks which rooms are obstructed at Fontaine

New York City Council · Oct 6, 2026 · starts 1:23:05 · 49 sec

Thomas-Henry asks which parts of units are obstructed; Kitty Rudiman says everything, including kitchen, bedroom, and living room, and Lawrence Lau estimates less than a third of the building is affected.

Shanel Thomas-Henry

I was just curious about that and what, well, the two young ladies here, like what you are on that side, what part of your unit is obstructed by this development?

Shanel Thomas-Henry

The bedroom, living room?

Shanel Thomas-Henry

Everything.

Everything.

You're all welcome to come and visit.

Shanel Thomas-Henry

Thank you.

Member of the Public - Lawrence Lau

If I could estimate less than a third, because it's three towers, and then that one tower, the side of that one tower is facing, would be facing a new development.

Member of the Public - Lawrence Lau

So the other two towers would not be.

Shanel Thomas-Henry

Well, all of their windows on this one side.

Shanel Thomas-Henry

So those are, or they have opposite.

Member of the Public - Lawrence Lau

That I can't tell you.

Member of the Public - Marilyn Solar

I believe all the windows are on that side.

Shanel Thomas-Henry

Okay.

Member of the Public - Kitty Rudiman

My windows face Queens Boulevard.

Shanel Thomas-Henry

Gotcha.

Member of the Public - Kitty Rudiman

Kitchen, bedroom, and living room.

Shanel Thomas-Henry

Okay.

Shanel Thomas-Henry

Thank you.
