Q&A

Thomas-Henry asks how many Fontaine units abut the development

New York City Council · Oct 6, 2026 · starts 1:22:20 · 46 sec

Council Member Thomas-Henry asks how many shareholders abut the back of the project; Marilyn Solar describes the Fontaine's horseshoe shape and says one leg faces the new development but she has not calculated the number.

Shanel Thomas-Henry

Are there any council members with questions?

Shanel Thomas-Henry

Council member Thomas Henry.

Shanel Thomas-Henry

I'm just curious, how many shareholders abut the backside of this building?

Shanel Thomas-Henry

So from a view perspective and what parts of their units?

Shanel Thomas-Henry

Are up against this?

Member of the Public - Marilyn Solar

That's a very good question, and I should have been better prepared for it.

Member of the Public - Marilyn Solar

The building is shaped like a horseshoe, and there's a large garden in the middle.

Member of the Public - Marilyn Solar

So it's one leg of the horseshoe that faces the new development, because it's just that U.

Member of the Public - Marilyn Solar

On the other U, they're facing Booth Street.

And then on the other view, they're actually looking at the city.

Shanel Thomas-Henry

Okay, but no idea approximately?

Shanel Thomas-Henry

How many of them?

Member of the Public - Marilyn Solar

I haven't calculated.

Member of the Public - Marilyn Solar

I'm very sorry.

Shanel Thomas-Henry

No worries.
