Chair Gutiérrez asks about vacancy rate in early childhood division
Gutiérrez asks about the vacancy rate in the early childhood division. Phillips says there are 228 positions being hired for and will share specific vacancy rates as follow-up.
And I'm so sorry, I think Councilmember Joseph may have asked this.
Can you just reshare the vacancy rate in the early childhood division today?
So there are 228 positions that we are currently hiring for.
We can share the specific vacancy rate as a
follow-up to the council.
Okay, and this, I'm going to ask this and we'll maybe have to follow up, but for contracts and procurement division, are there vacancies?
They were a part of the 228 positions.
So we are working across the agency to
you know, bring in additional staff who are needed.
So the contracting is a place where we can share some detail on that too.
