Council Member Banks Recognizes Youth Empowerment Month and Students
Banks recognizes Youth Empowerment Month, welcomes students from PAT High School in his district, and thanks educators and mentors.

I want to first recognize the Deputy Leader Speaker, Dr.
Natasha Williams, for sponsoring the Resolution 193 back in 2024, which I was proud to co-sponsor, which designated October as Youth Empowerment Month here in the City of New York.
And in that spirit, I also want to take the opportunity and time to welcome the young people and educators and mentors and community organizations who joined us today at City Hall.
I want to thank you for your work and all the work that you've done to educate and encourage and empower young people across the city.
A special shout out goes to the students from Pat High School in my district.
And also I want to thank you for coming to City Hall and participating in the civic process and representing the 42nd Council District.
