Aldebol asks whether exit surveys capture personal reasons for leaving
Aldebol asks whether departing employees can elaborate on personal reasons and whether parenting responsibilities factor into child care expansion; Outar says the survey does not probe personal reasons, though a separate needs survey informed the center's creation.
Pursuant to local law 130 of 2023, DCAS has administered exit surveys, many cited personal reasons as their rationale for leaving civil service.
In the survey, our respondents
that cite personal reasons as their reason for leaving, are they able to elaborate on the specific reason on the survey?
If so, do parenting responsibilities come up frequently, and how does that factor into your decision to create this child care program and possibly expand it?
The survey as it exists does not ask about for them to really go into what those personal reasons are.
So it's currently not being used to influence the child care process.
I know there was a separate evaluation.
survey process that was issued to employees to determine the needs of the service.
And so before the center was created, there was a lot of engagement with employees to determine what their needs were.
Okay, thank you.
