Aldebol asks whether trainings lead to promotions and agency tracking
Aldebol asks whether trainings lead to promotional opportunities and whether DCAS tracks agency participation; Outar says promotion outcomes are tracked at the agency level and DCAS data is not that granular, though it plans to engage low-participation agencies.
And do these trainings or some of these trainings lead to promotional opportunities?
That information would be at the agency level, so we're not able to share that.
And does DCAS track data on which agencies have the highest participation in a specific type of training curriculum?
We are not that granular with the data.
We can and we are planning to look at how we can further engage agencies where we see a lower participation.
So one of the things that we do is we meet with the training liaisons now on a bimonthly basis, and we try to highlight the trainings that are available to them, encourage them to share that information with their employees, and we're looking at how we can reach directly to
agencies where we see little or no engagement with our training.
That's definitely a part of our plan going forward.
Do you know if the agencies are actually tracking that data to see if employees who participated in training programs are able to move into higher paying?
Other agencies may have other retention and employee management goals, so they may track that.
We work with a lot of agencies who offer agencies.
specific training, so they may have internal processes to track that, but I can't say for 100% sure which agencies.
I see you rejoined us.
I was going to call on you and you were gone.
I'm going to pause so Council Member Morano can ask questions.
