Lovaglio-Miller calls for genuine partnership between city and unions
Lovaglio-Miller says she wants to partner with the city rather than criticize it, urging the administration to use unions in a real, not superficial, way on retention and civil service reform.
I mean, I could go on and on.
We could talk about the equity and salaries.
We could talk about wage reopeners that we do not currently participate in with the city of New York.
However, I really think my time here is not to bash the city.
My time here is to really try to be a partner with them and for them to utilize the unions in a partnership in a real way, not a superficial way, because I think that is what will be best for all city constituents, employees,
just everyone.
Thank you.
