Narcisse asks about H&H retention data and cost of replacing employees
Narcisse asks whether DCAS has retention data on H&H workers and whether the city knows the cost of losing and replacing an employee; Outar says H&H runs its own survey, and Porter says the cost data is not available today.
H&H is on the exit surveys agency list.
Does DCAS have any retention data on H&H workers, or is anyone collecting them the same way?
So for H&H, one of the, in terms of the cities and oversight, they participate in some of our initiatives and activities.
So for example, in our citywide employee viewpoint survey, they weren't included in that.
So that's one of the areas where they conduct their own survey and they're looking at their own initiatives.
So you don't have that.
Does the city know what it costs to lose an employee and replace them, including recruitment, training, and overtime to cover the vacancies?
We do not have that today, but we can get back to you.
Okay.
