De La Rosa asks Castillo-Madrid about her role and access to data
De La Rosa confirms Castillo-Madrid is an attorney and Senior Manager of Global Government Affairs, asks whether she has access to safety numbers and data, and Castillo-Madrid says she would have to get back to her team.
Thank you so much, Madam Speaker.
Ms.
Castillo-Madrid, you're the Senior Manager of Global Government Affairs.
Are you an attorney?
I am, yes.
Great.
And in your role, these questions that the speaker just asked in terms of, you know, the numbers,
Do you have access to that type of information?
To be clear, although I am a barred attorney, I don't practice law at SpaceX or I haven't practiced law in reality for a long time.
Almost a decade.
Okay, but do you have access to this type of information, like some of the numbers the speaker has asked for?
I'm imagining, as someone who's a senior manager of global affairs, you deal with regulators, you deal with elected officials on a worldwide basis.
These are very simple questions that this council is asking.
So my question to you is, do you have access to either yourself having direct data that you could give this council, or the people who are in charge of having such information?
I would have to get back to the team and make sure that we have what you need or what you're seeking.
Great.
Hopefully Congress also calls you up to testify, and when they do, I hope you have those answers.
