Menin asks about liability and catastrophic insurance
Menin returns to the rogue agent example and asks who bears legal responsibility and whether SpaceX AI has catastrophic insurance; Castillo-Madrid says she is not familiar with the specific case or insurance policies, and Menin says this is a simple yes-or-no question.
But going back to the question I asked earlier of the example of the rogue anthropic agents filing the false reports, who bears legal responsibility?
I'm not familiar with that specific case.
We're responsible if you're following the law when it comes to SpaceXSI and existing laws apply to AI just as it applies to anything else.
So if SpaceX AI causes either material injury, physical damage, you know, God forbid, a death, something cataclysmic,
then the company bears responsibility.
We're responsible for following the law.
Does SpaceX AI have catastrophic insurance in the event of one of these catastrophes happening?
I'm not aware of the specifics of our insurance policies and what we have and we don't.
Again, this is a very basic question.
It's what I asked the other companies last week.
This is a simple yes or no.
Either the company has insurance liability in the event of a catastrophic risk.
Around their AI or not?
I just don't want to misspeak.
I do understand the question.
I just, I don't have the specifics on our insurance policies.
Okay.
