Dinowitz credits Hunter College Grove Leadership Fellowship students
Dinowitz says the early work on the resolutions was done with students he mentored at Hunter College through the Grove Leadership Fellowship. He commends the CUNY students for drafting the resolutions as a civic project.
And I'm proud to say not only are these resolutions fantastic resolutions, but the early work on these resolutions was done with students I mentored at Hunter College, which is a CUNY school.
They run a wonderful program, the Grove Leadership Fellowship, and civic leaders work with two to four undergraduate students on civic projects.
And our civic project was elevating civic education in our schools.
And the path they took was drafting these resolutions.
So I want to commend those students and the work that was done by CUNY students.
So now those
resolutions are being heard by these two committees today.
And I think that's a powerful civics lesson for all the students who are here today and are watching at home.
