Jenna Ryle

We are very proud of how the number of schools offering the seal of civic readiness has grown.

Jenna Ryle

From 31 in our pilot year to 60 in 22-23, 118 in 23-24, 166 in 2020.

Jenna Ryle

24-25, 230, and 25-26, and to our largest number yet, 271 and 26-27.

Jenna Ryle

At the end of the 25-26 school year, 12,019 students graduated with the Seal of Civic Readiness, a 1,600% increase in five years from this.

Jenna Ryle

682 graduates who received the seal in 21-22 pilot year.

Jenna Ryle

This increase has been possible due to the New York City Public Schools'focus on a well-paced, strategic, and robustly supported effort to expand the number of students who have the opportunity to learn the Seal of Civic Readiness.

Jenna Ryle

We fully expect to continue this deliberate rollout and expansion, seeking to significantly expand the number of schools offering the seal each school year.

Jenna Ryle
