Maloney asks about public contracts and seaplane KPIs
EDC says contracts can be FOILed; some SOPs are security-sensitive; seaplane SOPs can be public; EDC focuses on safety and access and will follow up on metrics.
In both the case of NYC Ferry and the case of seaplane operations and party boat operations with DocNYC, there are subcontractor or contracted arrangements.
Those, you mentioned SOPs and guidelines and negotiated terms in these agreements.
Are those agreements made public?
And could we request copies?
Our contract is public.
I mean, it can be foiled to provide access to it.
Sorry, it is, our contracts can be foiled, of course, and can be obtained.
So we can follow up with you on that.
In terms of specific SOPs, some of them are security sensitive.
Some of them have certain restrictions to them.
So depending on what we're talking about, we can follow up on that.
And on the case of seaplane operations?
Yeah, those are shared with the seaplane operators and can be foiled as well or made public.
And a similar question I asked on the ferry side, but how do you evaluate the KPIs of the seaplane operators?
What are you measuring?
In terms of determining or reviewing the appropriateness of a seaplane operator in the area?
I think we're looking at focusing on really just the safety piece and that there's, so one example is we've looked at strengthening the infrastructure there to make it more
right size for the facility to reduce queuing.
So that's one effort we've made in that area.
But it's really around safety and access.
And to that point, it would be great to follow up with some of the data on the safety metrics that the operators are meeting, as well as
instances where enforcement has led to removal of an operator that's not meeting the minimum standard.
Yeah, we will be in touch.
Go ahead.
Yes, we will follow up with that information.
