Maloney asks if other ferry systems operate near proposed sites

And are there other ferry systems that operate near those sites?

At West 125th Street,

New York Waterway, which is a private operator that does a lot of trans-Hudson service, does operate in the vicinity.

So we think that that, for example, as part of the vision study, we would want to explore, you know, is there an opportunity for them to do so?

And again, we are trying to be good stewards of public funds.

If there is a way for a private operator to do this without public subsidy, we think that that's a great opportunity.

And so we'd love to continue having conversations like that.
