Ariola opens virtual testimony and explains unmuting process

New York City Council · Oct 20, 2026 · starts 4:15:42 · 41 sec

Ariola concludes the in-person Q&A panel and transitions to virtual panelists. She explains that staff will unmute each witness when their name is called and the sergeant at arms will set the timer.

Joann Ariola

That's the end of our in-person Q&A panel.

Joann Ariola

So it has been concluded.

Joann Ariola

We will now turn to virtual panelists.

Joann Ariola

For virtual panelists, once your name is called, a member of our staff will unmute you, and the Sergeant at Arms will set the timer and give you the go-ahead to begin.

Joann Ariola

Please wait for the sergeant to announce that you may begin before delivering your testimony.

Joann Ariola

Now I will call our first virtual panelist, Tyler Weaver.

Council Staff

You may begin.
