Menin responds to FDNY testimony by saying the city council wants to raise wages but the administration and FDNY are the ones who can actually solve the crisis. She says she does not understand perpetuating the situation when lives are at risk.

I just want to say, with all due respect, yes, you're saying it's in crisis, but you really are the only people who can solve the crisis.
