Narcisse asks whether FDNY expanded PSAs on when to call 911
Narcisse asks about the 2024 commitment to educate New Yorkers on urgent care and non-emergency options through PSAs. Esposito says FDNY has not instituted that yet, and Narcisse says she wants to collaborate on it.
At the 2024 hearing, FDNY testified that it was working to educate New Yorkers about urgent care and other non-emergency options.
This included using PSAs on when to dial 911.
Is this being expanded?
Did it work?
Did you try it?
Because we've been talking and I forgot to ask that one.
We have not instituted that as of yet.
All right.
But that's one of the things that, as you've been hearing about me, how we can do things better, and that's what I wanted to collaborate with.
So let's work on this.
I think that would be very helpful.
We've had it, you know.
In the permission of the chair, because she's the chair, so I still have to.
Yeah.
No, I'm just bothering you.
Yeah.
We will look at that.
Because we can work it out.
Yeah.
Thank you on that one.
