Gennaro calls truck and bus panel and takes short recess
Gennaro calls the next panel and says he will take a short break while the panel assembles. He insists it is not a formal recess and that he wants to hear every word of testimony.
And now we have the next panel, which I'm going to call.
And then I'm going to have to take just like a two-minute recess while the panel gets itself together.
We have Zach Miller from Truckee Association of New York, Larry Zogby of RDS Delivery Service Company, Pat Hyland of Metro.
Truck Association.
And this is one slip of two people.
We have former council member Liz Crowley, currently president of the Building Trades Employers Association, with Samuel somebody who I'm sure knows who he is.
And so, and I'll be back momentarily.
This is not a recess.
This is just...
Oh, okay.
No, no, no.
I want to hear every word of testimony.
Yeah.
But thank you.
Okay, do I have to do anything, counsel, to formally end the recess?
No, I just have to go.
Okay.
Cheers.
Liz.
Yeah, my God.
What's that?
Yeah, I really did a lot with it.
You know what I mean?
I really did a lot with it, yeah.
I wanted to make sure we were sitting higher than everybody else.
You know what I mean?
So we're looking like down on people, you know?
I've sat in that chair and it's just like, it's a little scary looking up here, you know?
Particularly me, you know?
No one knows what I'm going to do.
Oh, this is all on the record, of course.
Yeah, this is great.
Okay.
Okay.
And so very happy to welcome back to the council, former council member Liz Crowley.
Yeah.
Well, we're not, you know, yeah.
Oh, of course, I called the panel.
So this is Samuel, right?
Okay, all right, all right.
And so Sergeant looks like Liz is ready to go.
And so I'm going to give her the privilege of going first.
And so Liz, very...
You know, super to see you again.
And please proceed with your good testimony.
