DCP added 41 new staff in the FY27 executive budget.
which I've advocated for strongly as a chair, and I really appreciate the administration doing that.
But it seems like those staff lines were either for managing the city map or for the speed task force.

So we added about 46 new lines for all of our new responsibilities that are outlined in block by block.
So that includes a number of folks who will be working on our secret exempt applications, which will pull some burden off of our borough offices so that they can better focus their time on neighborhood plans and some of our larger scale planning projects.
In addition to team to support our work around census, city map, address map, and a number of new charter mandated duties.
Okay.
